This is one of the most amazing places to eat in the entire Washington DC area. Great southern food. If you are a lonely southern that missed your mom’s food I suggest you find old town and 815 Southside right away. I discovered many years ago and the food has always been wonderful.

Brunch done right! My husband and I went around noon on a Saturday and were seated immediately. I did notice while ordering food the place did start to fill up quickly, so try to get here when they open if you don’t want to wait.

Brunch was delicious! I got the Pulled Pork Benedict and it was fantastic. Savory meat and excellent flavor, came on 2 biscuits with an egg and potatoes on the side. Hub got the fried chicken benedict and he was equally pleased. good cocktails too- I had the white peach sangria and I was feeeeelin good. Hub got the dill pickle bloody mary, which came with a huge shrimp, and he loved it.

Service was excellent, and friendly, and affordable. Brunch for 2, with drinks, came to about $30. We will definitely be back!
